President’s Pick: Dylan Schlundt – Valparaiso, Indiana
What does it take to succeed in direct sales? Dylan Schlundt has the answer – and it’s not as complicated as you’ve been led to believe.
“Consistently showing up every day,” Dylan says. “It’s somebody’s first day and I want to be there to answer their questions and help them have a great experience.”
At IGNITE in Salt Lake City earlier this month, Dylan did just that. He attended the event with the intent to celebrate his teammates’ success, take pictures of them receiving their rank advancement trophies, and help them have a belief-building experience.
Those belief-building experiences are contagious.
As a Platinum Ambassador, Dylan also took the opportunity to pay his own way to attend Silver Summit a few weeks later. Again, seeing the importance of helping his up-and-coming leaders have an incredible experience learning from CEO Marc Wilson, President Jake Spencer, and much of the Q Sciences Executive Team.
That hunger to learn and thirst to succeed reignited his own fire.
In a year with Q Sciences, Dylan has gone from daydreaming for more to dreaming big again. All the false promises he heard at prior direct sales companies are finally coming true. And he attributes his success to the power of community.
“In the past, it was all about personal success.” Dylan said. “Now, with Q Sciences, it’s more about what the team can do for each other. Community is so much stronger.”
Even with all Dylan’s success — including being named President’s Pick for the month of February — the need to recharge, to feed off the Q Sciences community, is a necessity.
So, what does it take to succeed in direct sales? Showing up for the person next to you, because they’re also showing up for you.
And Dylan Schlundt is the quintessential team player.
